In 1988, MIT's first and only all-female a cappella group was born. Over the past 30 years, the MIT Muses have brought together over a hundred women through a shared love for STEM and music.

This December, we're excited to invite our Muses alumnae back to MIT campus for a special reunion weekend, leading up to our fall concert! Here is a general schedule of events:

Saturday, December 1

7:30 - 9:00 PM

Mixer For alumnae arriving on Saturday, join us for light refreshments and a casual meet-and-greet with Muses of all years!

Sunday, December 2

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM	Check In Let us know you're here and collect a small gift from the Muses of 2018-19 :)
12:00 - 3:00 PM	Lunch & Activities Kick off the day with a catered lunch, a warm welcome from all of us here, as well as various activities, including a photo booth. We will also be showing a compilation of pictures and sound bytes of the Muses from past to present!
3:00 - 4:00 PM	Alumni Song Rehearsal What's a Muses reunion without a cappella? We'll be rehearsing our alumni song, Change, arranged by Lauren Brave '99.
4:00 - 8:00 PM	Free Time Unstructured time to keep singing, visit your favorite places on campus, make dinner plans with other alumnae, or just relax.
8:00 - 10:00 PM	Concert The grand finale! Come watch us (and some fellow alumnae) perform and hear how our sound has evolved.

This year, our group is larger than ever, with 19 members. In 2017, we released an album, Queen of Anything, and we're currently recording for an upcoming release in May 2019. This fall, we performed at the grand opening of MIT.nano, an EECS faculty dinner, and Math Prize for Girls! You can see what else we've been up to on our Facebook page.
